Roots Project

This project caters to the needs of the adults. This will provide access to the neccessary knowlegde and skills for economic stability.

The training facility will provide CORA's clients with training in various lucrative trades. Examples of such trades are: Baking classes, mechanic and auto shop apprenticeships, hair design classes, tailoring, shoe making, accessory making, silk screening, fabric design, creative carpentry, knitting and embroidery. All training will be provided alongside English language and basic business classes.

This facility will have two categories of clients:

Category 1: These clients will receive food, shelter, and education at the training schools in exchange for work at one of CORA's businesses (see business initiative for more information). They will not receive any payment for services rendered. These clients will be put into any two related trades of their choice. At the successful completion of a course, they will be put into groups and offered a loan to start up their own business, which will be supervised by CORA until they begin to bring in a profit.

Category 2: These clients will pay to attend CORA's training schools, and may also choose to work for CORA at any of its businesses and be paid full wages.

This project will also cater to the needs of people with disabilities
